Udaipur is popularly known as “The Venice of East”. Rajasthan is a diverse state where you will find different specialties in each state.

1)City Palace

City Palace was built by Maharana Udai Singh of Sisodiya Rajput family in 1559.He shifted his capital from chittorgarh to the new place in City Palace of Udaipur. It is situated on the bank of Lake Pichola. It is a mix blend of Medival, European, Chinese architectural styles.Several places are built within the complex.It is the largest complex that is build on the bank of Lake Pichola in Rajasthan.

2)Lake Pichola

Lake Pichola is an artificial lake created in 1362 AD. In the 16th century, Rana Udai Singh extended the lake. The sunset view near the lake is eye-popping. The boat cruise provides a stunning outlook of the city mainly at the night the Palace shines a lot and the sparkling shadow falling upon the lake water is so attractive. Lake pichola is one of the most visited places in Udaipur.

This artificial freshwater lake was built in 1362 AD and was intended to meet the drinking and irrigation needs of the city of Udaipur and its neighboring towns. The area inside and around the Pichola lake has been developed carefully over the centuries and many palaces have temples, family managers, and bathing ghats. It has the Jag Niwas Island in the lake and the Jag Mandir in its temple. The famous City Palace spreads along the eastern bank of the lake while the Pichola Palace spreads in the middle of the lake. Boats can be carried from Bansi Ghat to other parts of the district, including Arsi Vilas Island which is a bird sanctuary, and Sitamet Khel Sanctuary.

3)Royal Vintage Car Museum

Udaipur is rich in its culture and heritage. The Royal Vintage Car Museum was inaugurated in the year 2000 by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu. It is owned by Rana Shri Arvind Singh. 4)Fateh Sagar Lake

Fatehsagar is an attractive lake that surrounds the lake, hill, and forest. This artificial lake was built by Maharana Jaisingh in 1678 and is situated to the north of Lake Pichola. The earthen dam in the flood is after being washed away, the latter was re-built during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singh. The Maharana built the Kannaut Dam to commemorate the visit of the Kannaut dam and renamed the lake Fatehsagar Lake.

Fateh sagar Lake is one of the 4 lakes in Udaipur and has three small islands. The beautiful Nehru Island is the largest that is very popular among tourists. The second island has a public park and a spectacular water jet fountain. The third island is home to the Udaipur Solar Observatory. All the islands can be visited by the motor board against every mountain the calm blue layer of the lake forms the second Kashmir of India.

5)Monsoon Palace

This 18th-century palace located outside Udaipur was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh of the Mawar dynasty and is also named after him. The palace belonged to the Mewar royal family for a long time and has recently been handed over to the Forest Department of the Rajasthan government.
